LabVIEW Developer
The candidate will work on software development and automation projects involving National Instruments LabVIEW, hardware integration, data acquisition, and test systems. The role requires strong programming fundamentals, debugging skills, and the ability to collaborate with engineering teams to deliver reliable technical solutions.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using LabVIEW.
- Develop automated testing and measurement solutions.
- Integrate LabVIEW applications with compatible hardware, sensors, and instruments.
- Work with data acquisition systems and hardware communication interfaces.
- Develop user interfaces, data logging, monitoring, and reporting functionalities.
- Troubleshoot software, hardware integration, and performance issues.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and application validation.
- Prepare technical documentation and maintain development records.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to understand technical requirements.
- Optimize existing applications for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 1–5 years of experience in LabVIEW development; relevant project experience may be considered.
- Knowledge of LabVIEW programming, debugging, and application development.
- Familiarity with data acquisition, instrumentation, and hardware interfacing.
- Understanding of serial communication protocols and NI hardware is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Freshers with demonstrable LabVIEW project experience may also be considered.
